Former Makerere university guild president Adeke Anna Ebaju had a close brush with death on monday along Makerere Hill road. Ebaju was alone while on her way to normal works at the collapsed building in Makerere near Ham Towers, when she nearly got trapped in the debris in a fatal accident that saw a life lost.

In a social media post, the former guild boss re-counted how by a hair's breadth she got off.
“You would need to believe if I told you that I was within a radius of 2 meters close to the building that just collapsed near ham towers Makerere.” Adeke posted.
