Thousands of mourners thronged Mt. Zion Bukalango prayer center to pay their final respects to former evangelist John Baptist Kyeyune alias Mukajanga who was found dead at his home in Entebbe on Saturday morning.
Since mourners were not told the cause of Mukajanga’s mysterious death, they started speculating on what could have killed him instantly with some claiming he was bewitched and others saying he had been poisoned by his enemies.

However, speaking during the burial ceremony, chief of defence forces, Gen. Katumba Wamala warned mourners against making such wild allegations without evidence, saying that his death (Mukajanga) was a shock to many, but it was God’s plan.
Gen. Katumba described the late as a very good man who never gave up fighting for the right thing. He also told mourners that they were organizing a victory party after winning the battles with the Catholic church heads at Rubaga who were in the past against is evangelization as a lay man.
At the time of his death, Mukajanga had visited the Arch Bishop, His Grace Kizito Lwanga and ended their disagreements. This story was told by the Arch bishop during ceremony to celebrate St. Kizito’s day in Luweero.

Mukajanga has been a significant figure in the Catholic Charismatic renewal known for his passion to pray for people with all kinds of problems.
At the age of 42, Mukajanga died a single man, and word has it that he was considering joining priesthood and he had sworn never to get married but serve God wholly.
He was laid to rest amid tears at Bukalango last evening.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
