The bereaved comedian who was recently robbed at gunpoint in his home took to Instagram yesterday, October 3, 2016, to mourn the loss of his angel and first love.

"Last my angel left me, my first love stopped breathing and it's the deepest pain I've ever felt," he wrote. Adding, "I love you for every sacrifice you made to make me the man I am today, I've loved you through the tough times. I've loved you through happier days and all I can say at this point is that I will love you forever. I will miss you mummy."

This comes weeks after Basketmouth and his family was robbed at gunpoint in his Lekki home.

Recently, the jester was spotted with Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg when he surprisingly visited the country.

The comedian shared a photo of himself with the humanitarian and businessman at the Landmark Event centre where he met with developers and entrepreneurs, while also learning about the Nigerian technology startup ecosystem.

Meanwhile, Basketmouth recently got his wife, Elsie Okpocha a house in Lagos. She took to her Instagram page on Friday, August 20, 2016 where she posted a picture of the house but immediately took it down.
