Celebrated singer Irene Ntale, on Monday evening officially announced that she had quit Swangz Avenue, a music label that signed her 4years ago. Her departure has been in 'mute" for a while even when the music label management tried to settle all the rising disputes from early last year through her concert days. She has finally quit from Swangz Avenue.

She posted on social media;
“My dearest Fans and friends, they say time flies, and today seems like one of those days when one takes it in stride to announce that after a lot of contemplation, I am officially departing from Swangz Avenue! I have made my intentions known to my record label and we have both come to an understanding that this is the best move forward. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Swangz Avenue for the knowledge and experience I have gained there. I am truly grateful for the time I have spent with the team along with the musical and professional relationships I have built. I believe both Swangz Avenue and I have enjoyed a remarkable partnership. As always I continue to work hard at my music, to give you my dearest’s the best I can offer and will also continue to consolidate my presence in the Industry, within Uganda and beyond. For years now, Irene Ntale and her now previous music label, Swangz Avenue, had been plagued with breakup rumors, steaming from several issues.

Yesterday, we sat with a source from Swangz Avenue who told us the juiciest gossip about the singer. The source alleges that Irene Ntale has not been a member of Swangz Avenue for close to 7 months.
Apparently, ever since her maiden concert that was held at Sheraton hotel in Kampala, Irene refused to sign a new contract with the record label.

However, this was not the beginning of the break up….
Singer’s boss, Julius Kyazze the co-owner of Swangz Avenue has been on bad terms with Irene Ntale and their misunderstandings cropped up when Julius stopped singer from staging private gigs without the management’s consent. Like any other big artist’s ego, Irene Ntale started misbehaving!

Furthermore, Gyobera singer started bad mouthing the company amongst her friends that she thinks the Label is being very restrictive and is ignoring her while favoring Winnie Nwagi of the ‘Katono Katono ‘ fame.
Howwe has further learnt Julius is now focusing on Winnie Nwagi at the moment; he is planning to make her one of the most selling artists in Uganda together with the young blood that respects him (the likes of Black Skin, Joel, Zulunda, and the new signing VINKA- former manager of Irene Ntale)

Ntale was the second artiste to be managed by Swangz Avenue after the death of singer Sera. Irene Ntale enjoyed the share of cake alone not until the bootylicious Winnie Nwagi popped and stole the shine with her ‘Musaawo’ hit this also diverted the attention of management leaving Irene in grief.
In the due course, Irene Ntale stopped performing and boycotted some of the work. A source says, she would adamantly refuse to follow orders from the bosses and this increasingly brought conflict between the singer and company.

So after giving her what she wanted-the concert- the management tabled a tough contract with very strict terms and conditions which she claimed it was targeting her and get ‘exploited financially’.
Meanwhile, alternative sources from Irene Ntale’s side say, Irene Ntale is thinking of taking a break from singing and concentrate on her love life. Apparently, she thinks for having kids this year and marriage thereafter.
