Musician turned parliamentarian, Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has said he survived being shot the same day his nemesis Bebe Cool was fired at many years ago.
Bobi Wine says he was at a bar in town when a District Resident Commissioner (RDC) sent one of his people to tell him, “Boss has said you go and greet him.”
Bobi refused and sent this messenger to tell the RDC that he’d see him after his performance. The RDC sent back his messenger to force Bobi and when they failed to agree the "Kadingo" singer pushed the messenger and he fell to the ground becoming unconscious.
“This unnerved the RDC and his guards, they started shooting at me but I was able to escape. The next morning, I heard that Bebe had been shot at. This was a wake up call. I knew I would die if I did not change my lifestyle. That moment changed me,” Bobi revealed during a show called "Ssemakula" show earlier this week.
He is currently in the states on studies but he has been conducting talk shows.
