Kampala Lord Mayor contestant Joseph Mayanja alias Jose Chameleone was denied a NUP ticket by Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine a few months ago.
The legendary singer then shun party activities after declaring he was standing as an Independent candidate.
But over the weekend, he declared that he would campaign for Bobi Wine. He also promised to accompany Bobi Wine to solicit for votes.
This has not gone well with NUP supporter who labelled him as an opportunist who wants to take advantage of Bobi Wine's popularity among the masses.
He has been advised by the fans to stay away from Bobi Wine and concentrate on his own campaigns in Kampala.
