Ronald Mayinja is one of the longest surviving musicians in Uganda.

He has over the years performed in some of the top brands like defunct Eagles Productions and Golden band Productions.

He gained fame among the low-end audience but also managed to be a darling of the uptown audience because of his political affiliation to NRM.

However, his style of music is often branded local, and he doesn't like it.

The singer has expressed his disappointment with Ugandans for calling him local simply because they speak English.

Ronald Mayinja said fans don’t have the moral authority to call him local.

He made the remarks during an interview with Miles Rwamiti show on Urban TV.
