Musician Gravity Omutujju had threatened to undress if the President postponed the opening of the music industry this month. He was frustrated with the government’s continued restrictions on music shows.

The nightlife is now operational, which means he won’t parade his naked body.

In an interview with the local radio station, Galaxy FM, Gravity Omutujju stated that although he is pleased that the industry is finally open, he could have still survived for more than 10 years without the shows.

He made the remarks when he was asked how he endured staying home without performing.

“I was being helped by my friends. I have many good people from different walks of life. Some were working, so they shared bread with me. I wasn’t like many musicians who only make money off the internet. It’s not my way,” he explained when he was asked how he survived lockdown.

“I’m a hustler. If I managed to sail through these two years, I can go for more than 10 years without performing,” he said.
