Shem Ssemambo will forever be known as one of Uganda’s finest brand marketers.

He was behind the beer brands that promoted music in Uganda in the late 2000s and early 2010s.

He was also a big brain behind the Silk Campus Night that always happened on Tuesday and the famous Kampala Street Jam.

He is currently intensive care unit (ICU) at IParamount hospital, fighting for his life.

He is battling Transverse Myelitis, a disease that causes inflammation of both sides of one section of the spinal cord. This neurological disorder damages the insulating material covering nerve cell fibers (myelin). It interrupts the messages that the spinal cord nerves send throughout the body.

He has been in the hospital for over a month and is faced with financial constraints.

Ssemambo’s situation was brought to public attention through social media by one of his Old Boys (OB) at Busoga College Mwiri.
