Dancehall artiste Aganaga has made a plea to the Uganda Musicians' Association leadership to organize a secret ballot exercise across the country for the forthcoming elections.
He urges that most musicians are broke, they can not manage to buy data for voting online.
“Many of the musicians especially the young ones are broke, some don’t even have data. If they organize electronic elections, many will be left out. We need a secret ballot exercise in the region,” he said in a media interview.
It should be recalled that in the previous elections, voters lined up behind their favorite candidates.
Aganaga is interested in becoming the Vice President of the association.
