Struggling musician Kalifah Aganaga is battling forever upcoming singer Hanson Baliruno for the post of vice presidency at Uganda Musicians Association (UMA).

Aganaga has, however, raised concerns about voter bribery.

He claims his competitor Baliruno is planning to use the money to buy off voters.

He contends that Baliruno has always used his deep pockets to keep relevant in the industry despite being a dormant singer.

It's his only worry that he may use the same tactics.

"Baliruno paid Chameleone huge amounts of money for a collaboration. He is also known for dishing out money for people to play his music, he could be thinking to use the same tactics to win support," Kalifah Aganaga said in an interview with local television.

The UMA elections are slated to take place early next month.
