Muhammad Segirinya was confirmed dead in January this year after a long battle with a cancer-related illness.
His burial took place in Masaka District.
However, reports have emerged indicating a bitter split between Segirinya's wives and his mother.
Allegations suggest the mother, Justine Nakajjumba, has since taken control of most of the late Segirinya's properties, and she is managing his estate alongside his sisters.
Reports indicate the wives have since lost control of his properties, including a farm in Matuga and rentals around Kawempe.
Reports further indicate Segirinya's mother has since asked all his wives to return his grandchildren to her, and it is alleged that Nanfuka Fatuma, the mother of Nagirinya, has already been forced out of her "Muzigo" (a type of rental room).
However, Twayira Akandiida, one of the wives, according to local reports, has threatened to petition court for guidance on the property row between them and their mother-in-law.
