Musician Spice Diana has opened up about her childhood memories, revealing her mother worked as a maid in Kampala to provide them with a better life.

The singer explained that her mother separated from her father when she was three years old. She came to Kampala to hustle for a better life.

She left Spice Diana and her sister at their grandmother's place in Kiboga District, and after working for months as a maid in Kampala, she saved some money and brought them to live with her.

"My mother separated from our father when I was around three years of age. I was quite young but understood a few things. She took us to Kiboga at our grandmother's home and came back to Kampala to hustle, working as a maid to make life better for us," she explained.

The regular hitmaker adds that after a few months, her mother found a new man who took them in as his own children.

He provided them with all basic needs, school fees, and parental love for a good couple of years until disagreements developed between him and their mother.

He then moved away from their lives and never looked back.

Spice Diana is grateful to her mother for going all out to work for the betterment of her children and guiding her throughout the years to become the responsible person she is today.
