Musician Weasel sarcastically announced his intentions to represent Makindye West in the coming parliament. He made the announcement last month.
The singer, who is barely sober twenty-four/seven, insists on running for the political office next year.
The musician explained he has the required qualifications and vowed to unseat Allan Sewanyana from the Parliament of Uganda.
Weasel says he will be running independently; he is not relying on political parties. He is relying on the people because that's where the numbers are.
"I will run independently, and I will win because I am going to speak to the people. They are the ones who matter most to me," he explained.
Weasel revealed he will soon change his dress code to suits because it's what the electorates are demanding.
"I am very serious about representing Makindye West in Parliament. I will change my dressing code very soon. I have the suits; Makindye people should seriously consider voting for me. I want to bring real change in Makindye," he added.
Despite his strong stance on taking the political route, different people still believe he is not serious about it.
