In May this year, Diamond Platnumz raised controversy in the Ugandan music industry after he traveled by air transport to Ntungamo for a press conference regarding the coffee marathon.

The debate was mainly stirred by Kenzo, who felt disrespected after not being given a chartered plane himself and instead using road transport to Ntungamo.

During a media interview in Tanzania, Bebe Cool revealed he hired the chopper for Diamond Platnumz to and from the Ntungamo coffee marathon.

Bebe Cool explained it was Diamond's business idea to ease his transportation, and it was fulfilled for the good of the artist and the marathon organizers.

"It was his own business idea because I am actually the one who hired the chopper for him. It's the reason I didn't complain when many of them were doing so. Diamond was late and we were supposed to have the press conference. To ease transportation, the plane was given to him for the good of the business," he partly explained.

Bebe Cool also called for unity among artists in the East African region, revealing it's the only way the industry will develop.
