Upcoming musician Simon Bunks has made headlines after walking down the aisle with an older white lover, known only as Sharon.
The couple held their wedding ceremony last month at one of the beaches around Kampala.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Simon Bunks defended his white lover, revealing she is very respectful, down-to-earth, and very loving.
"There’s nothing unusual about my relationship with Sharon. She’s respectful, down-to-earth, and treats me with love and care. I found peace in her," he explained.
Simon Bunks says he doesn't regret his decision to settle down with Sharon and is no longer interested in Kampala women who are just after his money.
"I have no regrets whatsoever because I love her, and I am no longer chasing Kampala women who are always asking for transport money. She is not that type," he added.
The upcoming singer also denied being interested in an Australian visa, revealing he is genuinely in love and not interested in Sharon's wealth and assets.
"I am not after the papers, as many people believe and have suggested. I am genuinely in love and I am content," he added.
