Singer Kalifah Aganaga has dismissed Alien Skin’s recent claims of being a music legend, saying the “Sitya Danger” hitmaker still has a long way to go before earning that title.
Alien Skin earlier this month declared himself a music legend, sparking controversy among fans and fellow artistes who felt he hasn’t achieved enough to deserve the status.
Kalifah Aganaga has now joined the debate, insisting that Alien Skin has not yet made a lasting impact on the industry or society.
“Alien Skin is not a legend — he’s still in active service, working to become one. He needs to work for at least ten more years and make a positive impact on society before being called a legend,” Kalifah said.
He went on to name Jose Chameleone, Bebe Cool, Bobi Wine, Radio & Weasel, and Sheebah Karungi among Uganda’s true music legends, saying they have consistency, influence, and legacy that speak for themselves.
