Award-winning producer and musician Daddy Andre has revealed that his involvement in President Museveni’s campaign trail goes beyond politics — it’s a family affair.
Speaking during an interview, the Nangana hitmaker bragged that he has a strong personal relationship with the First Family, explaining that he grew up with some of President Museveni’s children and maintains close ties with General Salim Saleh, the President’s brother.
“I am friends with the First Family. I started my friendship with General Saleh and continued upwards to President Museveni. I actually grew up with some of the children from the First Family. So what I’m doing is a family thing, even though I’m paid,” he said.
Andre, who has been accompanying the President across different regions of Uganda, noted that he will continue to rally support for the NRM candidate until election day.
He further emphasized that President Museveni remains the right person to steer Uganda’s development.
