Outspoken songwriter and musician Dokta Brain has sparked heated debate online after dismissing Alien Skin’s talent, saying the singer only survives on fan hype.
Speaking during a media interview, Dokta Brain said Alien Skin doesn’t rank among Uganda’s top musicians, arguing that his popularity is purely driven by noise rather than real musical ability.
“The most overrated musician in Uganda is Alien Skin. He doesn’t rank up there but is living on hype from fans,” he bluntly stated.
Dokta Brain added that he’s not bothered by Alien Skin’s fanbase, known for being defensive online, insisting that he only speaks the truth.
His remarks have since triggered mixed reactions on social media — with some fans backing him while others accused him of jealousy and clout-chasing.
