Controversial singer Alien Skin has fired fresh shots at fellow musicians still performing on President Museveni’s (Sevo’s) campaign trail, claiming his music outranks all of them combined.

Reports recently circulated that Alien Skin had fallen out with Bebe Cool and pulled out of the NRM campaign activities, allegedly over payment disagreements. Sources say the split happened after the Sitya Danger hitmaker demanded a large payout that the Gagamel boss reportedly refused to meet.

Now back in Kampala, Alien Skin has launched a scathing attack on the artists still touring with Sevo, insisting that his music is what truly moves crowds at rallies.

“I am demanding money from NRM. My music continues to entertain people at your rallies even in my absence — it’s bigger than the musicians on your trail. I don’t have to be there physically for the campaign to boom because my music will do it,” he said in a discussion with content creator Kasirye on TikTok.

His remarks came shortly after a video went viral showing Eddy Kenzo and other artists dancing to Alien Skin’s music during Museveni’s rally in eastern Uganda — despite Alien Skin not being physically present.

The singer insists he must be compensated since his songs are responsible for energizing the campaign crowds and pulling numbers.

Alien Skin continues to stir controversy in Uganda’s music and political scenes, maintaining his status as one of the most outspoken entertainers of the moment.
