Musician-turned-politician Nina Kakunda, popularly known as Nina Roz, has expressed strong confidence in winning the Sembabule District Woman Member of Parliament seat.

With only nine days remaining before the election, Nina Roz says her campaign groundwork has paid off and she is optimistic about securing victory.

According to the singer, she has extensively toured the district, engaged residents across various communities, and received overwhelming support from voters.

“I am very hopeful and I want everyone to know that I am heading to Parliament to represent Sembabule District as the Woman MP. I am the favourite to win. I have gone through the election area, the people are with me and I am very confident,” she said.

Nina Roz is contesting on the National Unity Platform (NUP) ticket and faces stiff competition from the incumbent Mary Begumisa of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) and several other candidates.

Her entry into politics has continued to generate excitement among both her fans and political observers as election day approaches.
