Controversial musician Alien Skin has warned supporters of the National Unity Platform (NUP) to stop attacking him, boldly claiming that he is on the same level as party president Bobi Wine.

While appearing in a live TikTok discussion, Alien Skin said he commands massive influence both on the streets and on social media, just like the NUP leader.

The singer argued that his popularity among ghetto youths across the country puts him in the same league as Bobi Wine and that he deserves the same recognition and respect.

“I am on the same level with Bobi Wine, the same standards, and I want his supporters to know that. I have a huge following and influence across the country like him. I deserve to be celebrated and supported,” Alien Skin said.

Alien Skin and the NUP online brigade have been locked in constant confrontations for nearly two years, with heated exchanges dominating social media platforms.

The rivalry reportedly started after Alien Skin broke ranks with the opposition camp and openly aligned himself with the ruling NRM, a move that angered many NUP supporters.

Since then, the singer has remained one of the most outspoken and controversial artists in Uganda’s music and political space, often drawing sharp reactions with his bold statements.
