Just as the saying goes, “you can’t shame someone who already owns their truth,” and media personality Etania Mutoni is living proof.
The outspoken DJ has fired back—without flinching—at critics who constantly body shame her, especially those obsessed with calling out her lips.
Speaking during a recent podcast appearance, Etania made it crystal clear that such comments don’t shake her one bit. In fact, she finds them… obvious.
“Someone comes in my comments and says, ‘look at the big lips,’ and I’m like, ‘obviously,’” she said.
Instead of clapping back with anger, Etania says she simply responds with one word: facts.
And honestly, she’s not losing sleep over it.
According to the media personality, there’s a big difference between truth and lies—and only one of them deserves her attention.
She explained that even when it comes to her singing, she wouldn’t take offense if someone criticized her.
“If someone says I can’t sing, that’s fine—I know that,” she implied.
But don’t get it twisted—when it comes to her DJ craft, that’s where she draws the line.
“Lies are what hurt. If someone says I’m a bad DJ, that’s a lie, and I will respond,” she added.

Etania didn’t stop there. She also sent a strong message to social media users about being careful whose opinions they take seriously.
“Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but not everyone should matter to you. Some people—who even are they?” she questioned.
