Musician Sheebah Karungi has spoken about her fallout with longtime music manager Jeff Kiwa, saying she remains determined to continue fighting for what she believes is rightfully hers.

Jeff Kiwa played a major role in shaping Sheebah’s music career, managing her for over a decade before the two parted ways. Their separation has since been followed by reported legal disputes, including disagreements over music ownership and business matters.

Speaking in an interview, Sheebah said she left Jeff Kiwa’s management because she wanted a more professional working relationship and greater clarity in the business.

“There was no clarity in the business from day one. I needed things to move in a professional way, and they were not moving that way. That is why I decided to leave,” Sheebah said.

The singer added that the legal disputes between them are still ongoing and involve matters related to her music and other contractual issues.

She said she has no plans of backing down, stressing that she worked hard for her career and intends to protect what she built.

“There are still things we are fighting for, including my music and the legal issues we are involved in. I will not stop because this is my sweat, my tears, and my hard work. I have a child now, and I will keep fighting for what belongs to me,” she added.

The dispute continues to draw attention from fans, given the major role Jeff Kiwa played in Sheebah’s rise to becoming one of Uganda’s top female artistes.
