Veteran media personality Omulangira Ndausi has clarified that he has no intentions of retiring from Radio Simba despite his plans to venture into the growing world of YouTube podcasts.

Speaking in an interview with Kasuku, Ndausi revealed that after nearly three decades at Radio Simba, he still has the passion to continue entertaining and informing listeners through his radio programs.

“I am not quitting Radio Simba. The good thing is that my show is a morning one and it ends at 10am, so I can give the podcasts all the time from 10 onwards,” Ndausi explained.

The celebrated broadcaster revealed that his move into podcasting is not meant to replace radio but rather to expand his presence in the digital space and connect with audiences in a new way.

As he prepares to launch his own podcast platform, Ndausi says he is currently appearing on popular YouTube channels to familiarize viewers with his face and personality beyond his well-known radio voice.

“Most people know us by our voices, but these podcasts are going to put me out there and push them to listen to us again on radio because even radio is visual now,” he added.

Omulangira Ndausi has spent over 28 years at Radio Simba, building a reputation as one of Uganda’s most respected radio personalities. During his career, he has also ventured into other businesses, including band management, music production, and now digital content creation.
