Music star Jose Chameleone says he has invited Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan and Burundi’s President Évariste Ndayishimiye to attend his upcoming Chameleone Unlimited concert in Kampala.
Chameleone revealed the invitations during a TikTok Live conversation, saying neither leader has confirmed whether they will attend.
“Recently people saw me with President Samia, while some other artists are trying to take pictures with their MPs. Now I have invited her alongside the President of Burundi to my Lugogo concert. They are yet to confirm,” he said.
The invitations follow Chameleone’s recent encounters with both East African leaders.
In August, the singer met President Samia during the Kizimkazi Festival in Zanzibar. He later thanked her for the reception he received during his visit.
Chameleone also has a relationship with President Ndayishimiye. In December 2025, the Burundian leader hosted him at Ntare Rushatsi Palace, where the singer presented proposals aimed at investing in Burundi’s creative industry, including plans for a modern music studio to support young talent.
The invitations come as Chameleone prepares for his long-awaited Chameleone Unlimited concert, which is planned for Lugogo Cricket Oval.
The concert had initially been scheduled for December 4, 2026, but Chameleone later released his booking of the venue to allow King Saha to use the date.
However, Chameleone has since indicated that Lugogo remains part of his plans, with recent reports showing renewed preparations for the concert.
For now, fans will have to wait for confirmation on the final concert date—and whether Presidents Samia and Ndayishimiye will accept Chameleone’s invitations.
