Police in Kabale are hunting for Frank Kingston a bouncer at Mist Bar in Kabale over the murder of an UMEME employee in the area.

Police spokesperson Fred Enanga says Kingston had an altercation with a one Gregory Kanyesigye an employee of UMEME at 2:00am on valentines’ night. The dual had a misunderstanding that led to a brawl. The angry bouncer picked an iron bar and hit the deceased injuring him severely.

Kanyesigye was rushed to Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital where he succumbed to the wounds on Sunday. 

“The suspect is on the run but our police there has already, using its intelligence and on started looking for the suspect,” Enanga added.

Meanwhile,

Police in Hoima are investigating attacks on two people who were hacked to death on Sunday night by machete wielding thugs. According to Julius Hakiza, the Albertine Region Police Spokesperson, three unidentified thugs murdered Asaph Asiimwe, a former employee in the Hoima Municipal Water Department and resident of Katuugo village in Busiisi division on Sunday night.

The deceased was found in his house preparing dinner and hacked him several times killing him instantly in the presence of his son. 

Asiimwe's son made alarm, which attracted residents who managed to intercept one of the suspects. 

Hakiza says the suspect was lynched by angry residents while his accomplices escaped to safety. 

And in a different incident, thugs hacked to death a man only identified as Bosco, a resident of Katooke village Kabaale parish in Buseruka Sub County and dumped his body near wambabya Bridge along Hoima Kaiso Tonya road on Sunday night. 
 
Bosco’s body was discovered by residents on Monday morning who immediately notified police. According to authorities, his body had cuts on the head, face and back. A suspect has since been picked up in connection to the attack.
