Swahilli people have a saying 'Killa Siku si Juma' meaning not every day is a Sunday, the dynamic duo of Radio and Weasel might have managed to cheat a flop last Friday at hotel Africana where they collected a hand full of people compared to all the previous shows in their career.
'Omwana Wabandi' show movement to Mukono Colline Hotel over the weekend was not an easy job for the event organizers. According to reliable sources Silk events was only supposed to provide sound for the Kampala show and not Mukono, hearsay has it that the organizers had deposited money for some quality sound earlier but hours to the show the person in charge was unreachable on phone and had dropped their deal for other juicy engagements amidst several calls of no rescue Shimix and Kyonsa (KjjomMedia), the event organizers were left with no choice but order for sound from Kampala and that was around 6pm.
By 7pm revelers had already flocked the venue but there was no sign of a good show going on, a few hours later, the sound guy from Kampala was able to reach Mukono at 8:45 pm but remember the stage setup would take them not less than 2 hours to be complete. By 10pm the disappointed crowd was left with no choice but vacate the premises while throwing insults. Police was in position to calm the crowd and no property was lost, Radio and weasel were advised not to move an inch close to the venue or would earn several beating from the rowdy crowd.
