Rapper Navio advised socialites in Uganda who waste money on buying expensive liquor in bars and during parties to invest their money in record labels and businesses that will grow the arts industry.
While appearing on KURT hosted by Tuff B every Saturday on NBS TV, Navio said Ugandan socialites should learn from those in Nigeria.
“Socialites in Nigeria don’t just splash money on bottles. They start record labels and groom talents like Wiz Kid. This helps the socialites to become even more famous and powerful," he said while discussing whether hunger for fame is killing the arts industry .
