Leone Island boss, Jose Chameleone had earlier announced to drop his highly anticipated album, "I am Joseph" on  November 9 this year,  but up to date, nothing is forthcoming.

Insiders in the Leone island camp say the singer decided to delay the release because he has a medical operation scheduled soon. Chameleone has been battling liver-related complications for years.

Alternative sources say Chameleone is scared of stiff competition from young musicians like Azawi, Ykee Benda who released big albums recently.

“Chameleone doesn't want to release music when the industry is crowded with many albums. He wants his music to get the undivided attention it deserves. He doesn’t want to join the fray, hence the postponement,” says a source.

A new date is yet to be communicated
