Veteran journalist Basajja Mivule Bwadenne left Bobi Wine’s National Unity Platform (NUP) to the National Resistance movement last year.

Discussing his relationship with Bobi Wine, he said that the traditional opposition members trust him more than the NUP leader.

The outspoken critic explained that his contribution to the struggle can't be compared to Bobi Wine's. He started fighting for a better Uganda way before Bobi Wine joined active politics.

"Bobi Wine can't be compared to me. I have been here fighting for the rights of Ugandans for a long time. I have commanded deadly protests before, I know many of the opposition people trust me more than that Boy," he partly said during his weekly show on Urban TV.

Many say he joined NRM because of money.
