Mc Kats, who has been in the music industry for more than 20 years was recognized at Zzina Awards 2022.
He scooped the legendary of the year award for his continuous contribution to the Ugandan music industry.
The NBS After5 host, Douglas Lwanga has now asked award organizers to always recognize Mc Kats every year for his works in the industry.
"Mc Kats was recognized by the Zzinna awards and I think this should be copied by all the award organizers. Mc Kats has done so much for the industry and should be celebrated while still alive," Douglas Lwanga explained while hosting the After5 show.
Douglas believes such recognitions can motivate the stakeholders to continue pushing for a better industry.
