The 39-year-old addressed the lyric misconception that is currently going on in her latest song with TIME.
"When I say the lyric 'Just got to New York like a net on a jet,’ a lot of people didn't realize I was talking about the basketball team! It's not like, a girl named Annette."
If you're surprised to hear that she's not singing about her friend Annette getting off a jet in New York and running things, trust us, you're not alone. However, that's not the only hidden gem from her song.
