Musician Cindy Sanyu is planning to meet President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni over copyright law.
The singer explained she has gone through different offices, holding meetings with lawmakers and implementors but yielded nothing.
"The bill was signed into law but it has not yielded much. We believe the President will help us because we have moved through offices but little has been done. We want to meet the President himself," she said in an interview with local television.
Cindy is the President of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA), a body that brings together different musicians in the country.
