The President of the Uganda National Musicians Federation, alongside other musicians, secured a grant from the government of Uganda.

Following different meetings, it was agreed that the money be given to musicians as loans for everyone to benefit.

However, Eddy Kenzo has revealed that some musicians have failed to facilitate their loans. They switched off their phones and cut off communication with the federation after receiving the money.

"Some musicians have refused to facilitate their loans. They distanced themselves from the federation after receiving the loans, and this has been challenging. But I call upon them to respect the terms for their own good," he partly said.

Eddy Kenzo also said some musicians have much respect for the loans, and these will continue benefiting from the different packages which will be coming to the federation from various funders.
