Last week, musician Jowy Landa lost her brother after a long battle with illness at Kiruddu Hospital in Kampala. He succumbed to injuries he sustained after receiving severe beatings by thugs in Kampala. His burial took place in Luwero district.

However, artists shunned the burial ceremony, and it was only Nandor Love who turned up in Luwero and spent over two days with her. The singer, however, has now spoken out on the matter.

Jowy Landa explained she is not bothered by those who shunned the event. She says it was a funeral, and many of the artists who didn't turn up reached out to her personally.

"It was not a concert; it was a funeral. The ones who managed came through, but others sent me condolence messages. Artists like A Pass reached out. I really don't take it as a big deal; you know artists are always busy," she explained in an interview with a local television.

Jowy Landa ruled out any beef with Nandor Love, as per earlier reports, and says they are good friends but have been a bit busy lately. She currently spends most of her time at Team No Sleep, unlike before when they were together at Ghost Empire.

"I have never had beef with Nandor Love; she is my close friend. It's just that we have been busy and no longer spend most of our time together. I am back with TNS, and she is with Ghost Empire. So we always have different programs," she added.
