Veteran singer Stabua Natooro has advised female musicians to embrace motherhood early rather than postponing it until they stop singing.
Speaking during an interview with a local television station, the "Enkula" hitmaker, who has successfully balanced her music career and family life, encouraged women in the entertainment industry to take the bold step of giving birth and building families while still active in music.
Natooro applauded Sheebah Karungi for recently giving birth, describing it as a wise and timely decision.
“Ladies, you should give birth — do it at this time. Sheebah did the right thing to give birth now, and I want to thank her for that. I also ask her to have more children. All female musicians should get children early; don’t wait to stop singing to start families. Get married and give birth, just as God directed in the Bible,” she said.
The singer also extended her congratulations to Irene Ntale for officially marrying the love of her life, commending her for choosing family stability.
“It’s really a good thing, and I congratulate her upon taking that decision. It’s now time for her to give birth and enjoy a successful family,” Natooro added.
