Outspoken musician Irene Ntale has launched a bold message to women, urging them to stop spending their hard-earned money on men, a decision she describes as “embarrassing and pointless.”

Speaking in a recent interview with a local YouTuber, Ntale — who tied the knot recently — said that investing financially in a man is one of the biggest mistakes a woman can make, arguing that most men will walk away without remorse after benefiting from such investments.

Ntale believes that financially supporting men is a loss-making venture because men are constantly on the lookout for new opportunities and will not hesitate to leave once they find something better.

“I can never be in agreement with any woman who chooses to invest in a man. It’s very embarrassing, because men will always run away with your hard-earned skin. Use your money for other things,” she emphasized.

According to the singer, men are culturally and religiously mandated to provide for their families, and therefore, they should carry the full responsibility of financially supporting the household.

She encouraged women to instead invest in personal projects and secure their future rather than funding relationships that may collapse without warning.

Ntale’s remarks have ignited strong reactions online, with many debating whether her views reflect reality or reinforce outdated gender roles.
