Musician Fik Gaza has made a dramatic return to the NRM campaign trail, weeks after publicly criticizing the ruling party and vowing never to perform at their rallies again.
The singer appeared at President Museveni’s rally in Ibanda District, where he received loud cheers from supporters as he performed.
Speaking to the media, Fik Gaza explained that his decision to rejoin the NRM rallies follows the settlement of his long-standing payment disputes with the party.
“My money issues were resolved. And at the moment I have been paid to perform and I am rallying support for President Museveni,” Fik Gaza said.
The artist noted that he is excited to be back on the campaign stage and promised to continue performing at all upcoming rallies.
Fik Gaza also appreciated Youth Minister Balaam Barugahara, Bebe Cool, and Eddy Kenzo for helping facilitate his return to the campaign activities.
The musician, who has recently been trending for his outspoken nature, says he is now enjoying renewed support from the NRM camp.
