The music industry is heating up once again after Big Talent boss Eddy Kenzo unleashed a serious verbal missile at Gagamel boss Bebe Cool, following the release of Bebe’s much-talked-about 2025 performers’ list.
As expected, the list stirred mixed reactions across the industry — artists who made the cut are singing praises, while those who didn’t are clearly not taking it lightly.
Enter Eddy Kenzo.
The presidential advisor didn’t hold back, calling on Bebe Cool to focus on music instead of drama if he truly wants to remain relevant.
“Bebe Cool should stop tapping other artists’ electricity. Let him hit the studio, make good songs and enjoy his relevance through music. In all honesty, over the years he has been jumping on different people to stay relevant. This is my last time speaking about him — I appeal to him to go and record music,” Kenzo fired.
Kenzo’s remarks were in response to Bebe Cool’s comments suggesting that Kenzo was ignorant about copyright law, as well as his omission from the list released on January 1st, which ranked musicians who outperformed others in 2025.
