Veteran media personality and events host Omulangira Ndausi has revealed that Bebe Cool reportedly withdrew from plans to shoot the video for Cheque, his collaboration with rising singer Joshua Baraka.

Speaking during an interview with a local YouTuber, Ndausi claimed that the Gagamel boss had initially committed to investing in the video project and had already begun preparations for the shoot.

According to Ndausi, the project stalled after Joshua Baraka allegedly failed to coordinate as expected, prompting Bebe Cool to lose interest in the venture.

“Bebe Cool was ready to invest in that project. He prepared everything and called Joshua Baraka to get ready for the shoot, but Baraka started playing games, and Bebe Cool eventually pulled out,” Ndausi said.

He further alleged that despite efforts to convince the veteran singer to reconsider, Bebe Cool declined to return to the project and instead shifted his focus to other commitments.

Ndausi believes the video is unlikely to be produced under the original arrangement, given that Bebe Cool has reportedly moved on from the idea.

Neither Bebe Cool nor Joshua Baraka had publicly commented on the claims by the time of publication.

Cheque brought together two generations of Ugandan music talent and was well received by fans, who had hoped to see the collaboration accompanied by an official music video.
