Musician Kalifah Aganaga has shared his views on what it takes to build a successful music career, arguing that one timeless hit is more valuable than a large catalogue of average songs.

Fresh off the success of the "Nassanga" remix, Aganaga criticized the growing trend of artists releasing numerous songs without focusing on creating music that leaves a lasting impact.

Speaking during an interview with the media, the singer said he would rather have a single blockbuster hit than a catalogue full of songs that fail to resonate with audiences.

According to Aganaga, investing time and effort into producing one exceptional song can create far more opportunities than releasing multiple forgettable tracks.

"I would rather have one mega song than have so many. A mega hit can get you a concert, a brand deal with MTN, and good money," he explained.

Aganaga added that a genuine hit song keeps an artist relevant for many years and continues to generate opportunities long after its release.
