Events promoter Abbey Musinguzi, popularly known as Abitex, has taken a swipe at musician Pallaso, claiming promoters are reluctant to invest in him because he no longer commands enough fan support.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Abitex questioned Pallaso's commercial value, arguing that his struggles go beyond music and are also linked to what he described as a lack of discipline.
“Pallaso has no value for money because he doesn't have fans and discipline. He is struggling because no promoter wants to invest in him,” he partly said.
Abitex Tells Pallaso to Apologise to Alien Skin
Abitex also urged Pallaso to publicly apologise to Fangone Forest leader Alien Skin, claiming the singer continues to face consequences from their previous confrontation.
The promoter referenced an incident in which Pallaso allegedly attacked Alien Skin's home last year, arguing that the fallout has continued to affect the singer.
Abitex's comments are likely to fuel the ongoing debate around Pallaso's current standing in Uganda's music industry, particularly his ability to attract fans, promoters and major concert investments.
