Veteran singer Kid Fox is working on a comeback to Uganda's music scene after spending nearly 15 years away from the country.

The singer, who recently returned home, is now focused on rebuilding his music career and reconnecting with the current generation of Ugandan artistes.

As part of his comeback strategy, Kid Fox has identified two artistes he would like to collaborate with — Sheebah Karungi and Ziza Bafana.

Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Kid Fox named Sheebah as his preferred female collaborator, while choosing Ziza Bafana among the male artistes.

“I would want to collaborate with Sheebah Karungi among the females and Ziza Bafana when it comes to the male,” he said.

Kid Fox believes such collaborations could help him reconnect with Uganda's evolving music audience as he works to re-establish himself in the industry.

His return has already generated interest among music fans, with many waiting to see how he will adapt to the current music landscape after such a long absence.

Whether Sheebah and Ziza Bafana will take up his collaboration requests remains to be seen, but Kid Fox appears determined to make his return to music count.
