Musician Aroma has revealed that she is now left with only her mother after losing her father last year and two of her siblings, a reality she says has made life increasingly lonely.

During a conversation with Mr Henrie, the singer spoke candidly about how their absence has affected her emotionally and changed the way she relates to people around her.

“It feels too lonely. Very lonely. The loneliness is always too loud,” Aroma said.

She explained that having people leave her life has made it difficult not to expect the same from others who become close to her.

“It's like people coming into my life and they leave. Of course you are going to leave. My brothers died. They left me behind.”

Aroma says there is no simple way of escaping such emotions, and that she has instead learned to carry on with them.

“You don't escape. You just learn to live with it every day,” she explained.

Her personal struggles have come alongside the demanding realities of pursuing a career in music, which she describes as financially, emotionally and physically exhausting.

Asked whether music is still worth pursuing despite everything she has experienced, the singer gave a strikingly uncertain response.

“I don't know.”

Away from music, Aroma says she retreats into her introverted side, spending time talking to friends on the phone and watching movies.
