Singer Bruno K and socialite Judith Heard have reignited their public dispute over claims that emerged following the death of Rwandan singer Gogo.
Bruno K revisited the controversy while appearing on the Mind Your Head podcast over the weekend, accusing Heard, whom he once regarded as a mentor, of spreading claims that linked him to Gogo’s death.
According to Bruno, Heard used her large social media following to turn people against him.
“It was Judith Heard… she is born again but may God forgive her, because born agains do not judge other people. She needs to repent for what she did to me,” he said.
Bruno further alleged that Heard directly told people that he was responsible for Gogo’s death.
“She has a huge following, and she got her phone and told people that I killed Gogo, and she claims to be born again,” he added.
The singer said the allegations were particularly painful because he had been close to Gogo and had hosted her on TikTok shortly before her death.
He also said he later became involved in arrangements following her death and feared how he would be received when he travelled to Rwanda.
However, Bruno said he received a warm reception from Rwandans, which eased his concerns.
“When I went to Rwanda I received so much love because it was clear that I loved Gogo and cared for her,” he said.
Heard responded on Monday, saying she had deliberately chosen not to engage with the dispute when it first emerged.
“I ignored him then, and somehow my name is still part of his conversation today. I genuinely pray he finds the healing and attention he is looking for. As for me, I have moved on. God bless him,” she said.
The latest exchange has brought the disagreement between the two back into the public spotlight, with Bruno revisiting the allegations and Heard maintaining that she has moved on.
