Band musician Chris Evans has asked Jose Chameleone to postpone his upcoming concert, arguing that he announced his show first and should not have to compete with the Leone Island boss on the same date.

Chris Evans is scheduled to perform at Front Page Hotel on December 4, the same day Chameleone is expected to stage his concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

Speaking about the clash, Evans admitted that going head-to-head with Chameleone was a concern because of the singer’s musical influence. However, he insisted that he had already secured his date and appealed to Chameleone to move his event.

“I am afraid because Chameleone is very powerful musically, but I booked first. I ask him to postpone his event and allow me to go ahead with my concert as scheduled. He should not sabotage my concert; I announced first,” he said.

Evans maintained that he wants his show to proceed as planned, asking Chameleone to consider changing his date as a favour.

The clash puts two concerts on the same night, potentially forcing fans who want to attend both events to choose between the performances.
