Musician Cinderella Sanyu aka Cindy warned members of the Uganda Musicians' Association(UMA) not to expect free food and other freebies from her when she becomes the President of the association.

Cindy explained that her statements might stop some members from voting for her because some musicians fear hearing the truth.

The "Boom party" singer said she will continue working with the association and fighting for the musician's rights even when she doesn't win.

"I know many of my friends fear the truth, they could fail to vote for me because of my statements but I can't withdraw them. I am ready to continue working with the association even when am not the President," she partly said in an interview with local television.
