Many people hold Nigerian musicians in high regard, and we have seen them treated like Kings and Queens whenever they come to Uganda.

Spice Diana, however, feels that Nigerians should respect Ugandan artists more.

“If you look back 6 years ago, the style we were doing then is what Nigerians are performing today. They copied us. They are doing kidandali,” she explains

Many music analysts have always dismissed artists for lacking a signature sound, but Spice Diana says as time passes, musicians fuse Kidandali with other styles like amapiano and more.

They can not remain static because the tastes and preferences of consumers keep changing.
