The tenure of Cindy Sanyu and the entire Uganda Musicians' Association leadership is expiring soon.

New prospective leaders are preparing to steer the association in the right direction.

Musician Khalifah Aganaga has expressed interest in standing as the Vice-President of the association.

Through his socials, Aganaga said he is the right person for the position.

“As a talented singer, songwriter, producer. I feel I am the right person to be the Vice-President of the Uganda Musicians' Association (UMA). I am ambitious and driven. I thrive on challenges and constantly set goals for myself. I am not comfortable with settling and I’m always looking for an opportunity to do better and achieve greatness.
I have a strong desire and determination to succeed. I am a natural leader. I’ve eventually been promoted to a leadership role in every job because I like people,”  he stated.

Cindy is yet to reveal whether she will stand again as President.
